In terms of urban architecture the new fire brigade building reacts within a loose structure of detached family houses to the status quo of the school at its rear. The architectural concept involved graduating the building in accordance with its purposes and spatial needs. Its structure is designed as a three-storey construction with compact organisation and the single-storey vehicle garage. The basic idea was to create a building equal to the functional and technical demands and procedures of a fire station, and one which also accommodates multiple uses for the community.
